Cy Young went the distance and center fielder Chick Stahl collected 2
extra-base hits and had 3 RBI at Lloyd Street Grounds where the Boston
Americans beat the Milwaukee Brewers 8 to 2.

Boston took the lead for good in the top of the 2nd inning plating an isolated
run. Freddy Parent doubled. After another out, Ossee Schreckengost came to
the plate and hit a sacrifice fly scoring the run. Boston rapped out 14 hits
for the afternoon.

The win was credited to Young(7-2) who went the whole way allowing 2 runs.
Bill Reidy(3-4) was the losing pitcher. He pitched 9 innings allowing 14
hits and 1 walk.

Clark Griffith allowed Griffith to rest his bullpen, tossing a complete game
at South Side Park as the Chicago White Sox beat the Washington Senators by
the count of 9 to 3.

Griffith(5-2) gave Chicago a solid outing. He was reached for 7 hits and 2
walks in 9 innings. Chicago managed 15 in their victory.

Watty Lee(4-4) was tagged with the loss. He was touched for 15 hits and 3
walks in 8 innings.
