April 21st




Oprhans committed four of their game total six errors in the 7th inning that allowed the Cardinals to plate four. Sudhoff did a nice job in salvaging the finale for St. Louis. Frank Chance got the start behind the plate for the Orphans, and the Cardinals ran wild on him throughout.

Willie Sudhoff was able to finish what he started and was credited with a
complete game and Patsy Donovan had 3 base hits and 2 RBI at Robison Field as
the St. Louis Cardinals beat the Chicago Orphans 5 to 1.
