In the series finale between Chicago and St. Louis, Jock Menefee will oppose Willie Sudhoff. The 33-year old Menefee is coming off a respectable 1900 campaign where he won 9 and lost 4 with an ERA of 3.85. In his past, Menefee has played some outfield, and even though he didn't get the opportunity last season, the Orphans have stated that he may see some time there this year. Sudhoff, 26 years old, is coming off his first full season with St. Louis. He sported a nice 2.76 ERA but only had a 6-8 record to show for it. He's trying to prevent the Orphans from sweeping this opening series.
