Dahlen's bat helps Superbas split doubleheader

Bill Dahlen (pictured) went 4 for 5 and drove in 4 runs as the Brooklyn Superbas won an 8-2 decision and split a doubleheader. Frank Kitson was the recipient of the fine run support and he evened his record at 2-2. Kitson scattered 14 (!?) hits and managed to complete what he started.

The game started off with BROOKLYN taking the lead in the first plating an

isolated run using 3 hits. BROOKLYN managed 15 in their victory.



Kitson(2-2), allowing 2 runs for the game, picked up the victory. The losing

pitcher was Cowboy Jones(2-5). He was touched for 15 hits and 2 walks in 8

innings.
