
Donovan twirls 3-hitter as Superbas win again
Brooklyn ran their season record to 19-6 as Wild Bill Donovan (pictured) allowed only 3 hits in the Superbas 4-1 win. Donovan is now 6-1 on the season and he lowered his ERA to a tidy 2.54. Frank Gatins supported the offense for Brooklyn with a 3 for 4 day that had his batting average climb to .196.
