Brooklyn rallies behind Sheckard for win
Jimmy Sheckard (pictured) had three hits and scored three times as the Superbas rallied from an early deficit to beat pre-season favorite Pirates 9-3. Honus Wagner was red hot early smacking a solo home run and driving in another run with a base hit. But Snake Wiltse folded in the 7th inning as Brooklyn strung together some hits from the top of their order to pull away.
