Bernhard pitches, and hits Athletics back to .500
Bill Bernhard had great stuff on the mound today as he held the Brewers to only five hits in the 2-1 Athletics win. Bernhard helped himself at the plate as well, driving in a run in the Philadelphia 4th inning. That run would end up being the deciding factor when the Brewers pushed one across in the home 4th. Philadelphia is back to .500 at 12-12 while the Brewers have sunk to 8-17.
