Lajoie leads 23 hit outburst as Athletics sweep Blues

In the 2nd game of today's doubleheader, Nap Lajoie (pictured) had 4 hits and 4 rbi's in the Philadelphia 17-10 win. Offense was the name of the game today, as Nap had three doubles (giving him 8 on the season), and got three hits from four additional players. Bill Bernhard, hardly sharp himself, got the win for Philly to run his record to 3-2.
