Jesse Tannehill allowed Fred Clarke to rest his bullpen, tossing a complete

game and he collected 2 extra-base hits and had 3 RBI at Washington Park

where the Pittsburg Pirates beat the BROOKLYN SUPERBAS by the score of 10 to

5.

Pittsburg had 7 runs cross the plate in the top of the 3rd inning when they

had 6 base hits. That early scoring was all that Tannehill(5-0) needed.

Pittsburg had a total of 13 hits for the game.

Jim Hughes(3-2) was the loser. He got hit pretty hard, allowing 12 hits and 4

walks in 7 innings.
