
Tannehill keeps perfect record in DH opener
Jesse Tannehill (pictured) ran his record to a perfect 5-0 with a 10-5 win in the opener of today's Memorial Day doubleheader. Tannehill not only threw a complete game, but he contributed three hits and three runs batted in on offense. He drove in two with a double in the Pirates monster 7-run 4th inning and added another rbi on a single in the 7th inning.

Jesse Tannehill allowed Fred Clarke to rest his bullpen, tossing a complete
game and he collected 2 extra-base hits and had 3 RBI at Washington Park

Pittsburg had 7 runs cross the plate in the top of the 3rd inning when they
had 6 base hits. That early scoring was all that Tannehill(5-0) needed.
