Reidy dominates Athletics who drop back below .500
Bill Reidy (pictured) absolutely dominated the Athletics offense in this contest. Reidy allowed only three hits and one walk in the 10-0 Brewers win. Two of those three hits actually came in the 9th inning. Reidy got plenty of offensive support, with Hugh Duffy leading the way with his first home run of the season.

Bill Reidy pitched a 3 hit shutout and Hugh Duffy lofted one into the 'cheap
seats' and had 3 RBI as the Milwaukee Brewers man-handled the PHILADELPHIA
ATHLETICS - the final score was 10 to 0.
Reidy(3-2) was tremendous on the mound for Milwaukee. He allowed only 3 hits
and 1 walk in 9 innings lowering his ERA from 4.17 to 3.35. Milwaukee rapped
out 15 hits for the afternoon.
The loss was charged to Wiley Piatt(2-6). He got hit hard, allowing 13 hits
and 4 walks in 7 innings. 'We didn't have a whole lot of chances today,'
Connie Mack said. 'Reidy just was too much for our guys.'
