Fultz drives in game winner as Athletics dance with .500 mark

Dave Fultz (pictured) singled in the go ahead run in the Philadelphia 6th and later stole 2nd and scored an insurance run, in the Athletics 5-2 victory. Philadelphia continues to dance back and forth around the .500 mark, and now sit evenly atop it at 13-13. Chick Fraser got the win, completing all nine innings. Fraser scattered 8 hits, 4 walks and overcame two of his own errors to notch the victory.

Lave Cross had 3 base hits and Chick Fraser allowed Connie Mack to rest his

bullpen, tossing a complete game as the PHILADELPHIA ATHLETICS topped the

Milwaukee Brewers by a score of 5 to 2 at Lloyd Street Grounds.



PHILADELPHIA brought 2 runs across the plate in the top of the 7th inning.

PHILADELPHIA took care of Milwaukee with no trouble in the bottom of the 9th.



Fraser(4-4) picked up the complete game victory, allowing 2 runs. Ned

Garvin(1-4) was the loser. He surrendered 11 hits and 5 walks in 9 innings.
