Davis leads Athletics offense in explosive 3rd inning

Cleveland led 1-0 in the 3rd when the Athletics exploded for six runs. The inning was highlighted by Harry Davis (pictured) 2-run double, his third two-bagger of the season. Eddie Plank received all the help he would need in that inning, as he settled in and allowed only one more run to the Blues offense. Philadelphia scraps back to .500 with the win, while the Blues drop to 12-16.
