Danny Green went deep and had 3 RBI and Jack Taylor tossed a complete game as
the Chicago Orphans defeated the Cincinnati Reds 9 to 5 at League
Park.
Chicago promptly took the lead in their half of the first when they scored 5
runs on 5 hits. Both teams totaled 11 on the afternoon.
Taylor(2-0), allowing 5 runs for the game, picked up the victory. Bill
Phillips(0-1) took the loss. He allowed 10 hits and 3 walks in 7 innings.
