Fielder Jones had 4 hits and John Katoll allowed Clark Griffith to rest his
bullpen, tossing a complete game as the Chicago White Sox defeated the
Cleveland Blues 9 to 4 at South Side Park.
Katoll(1-0) delivered a fine performance for Chicago. He was reached for 7
hits and 3 walks in 9 innings. Chicago banged out 10 on the afternoon.
Bill Hart(0-1) took the loss. He was knocked around pretty good, giving up 9
