Charlie Irwin had 2 base hits and Noodles Hahn went the distance at West Side
Park as the Cincinnati Reds beat the Chicago Orphans by the count of 4 to
2.
Cincinnati jumped out to the early lead in the first inning scoring 3 runners
on 4 hits. That scoring would be all that was needed. After the 4th inning,
neither team was able to score.
Hahn(1-1) picked up the complete game victory, allowing 2 runs. Jack
