Phillies waive opening day starter Dunn
The Philadelphia Phillies have announced that they've waived pitcher Jack Dunn. Dunn, despite earning a victory in his last start, had been mostly ineffective in his first two starting assignments this season. In addition to his unsightly 9.90 ERA, he had allowed 19 hits and 9 walks in only 10 innings of work. It is not known at this time whether Dunn's roster spot will be reassigned.
