
McCann dominant again as Superbas cruise
Gene McCann ran his record to 4-0 with another stellar performance. He allowed only an unearned run in the 9th, en route to a 6-1 Brooklyn win. Superbas are now 11-3 and McCann has 4 of those wins.

Gene McCann went the distance as the BROOKLYN SUPERBAS beat the Boston
Beaneaters by a score of 9 to 1.
Bill Dahlen enjoyed a big day at the plate. He slapped a single in the 1st
inning, tripled in the 3rd inning and lofted a three-run 'big-fly' (his 1st
of the season) in the 9th inning. BROOKLYN rapped out 11 hits for the
afternoon.
McCann(4-0) lasted until the end allowing 1 run for the win. Togie
Pittinger(0-3) was tagged with the loss. He surrendered 11 hits and 3 walks
in 9 innings.
