Transactions- May 1st

The Cleveland Blues have sold pitcher Bock Baker to the Philadelphia Athletics. Baker had made one start for the Cleveland club previously. On April 28th, he allowed 5 earned runs and 10 hits in a losing decision to the White Sox. The Athletics are still looking for a solid 4th pitcher to go with Piatt, Bernhard and Fraser.
